[He startles, bonking his forehead AGAIN on the tree (this time by accident), but relaxes when he realizes it's Sieghart.]

Ow... [He rubs at his forehead.] Uh Sieghart? I-I heard you were...you were in the moat...are you okay?

As you can see, I'm still alive and kicking.

[Other than sporting an array of small animal bites on his face and arms, he's just peachy.]

Now get away from the tree before you hit yourself again.

Uh, can I ask what happened last night? Everyone went to their dorms...did you not go?

No, I went. I blacked out there, too, but woke up in the river with no memory of how I got there.

You were in your dorm, conked out, and then woke up...outside?

Is it that hard to believe? Very little here makes sense.

Mollymauk said that you got bitten by the geese? Those bruises...

Not just geese, but squirrels as well. The bruises are probably their attempts at biting through my sleeves.

S-Squirrels? Geese I can understand but...why would the squirrels attack you?

Who knows? I wasn't conscious when they attacked. But I've seen their temper before.

[An awkward glance down at those arms again.]

They're too small for that.

If I fought someone off last night, they'd be at least visibly wounded.

Mollymauk also said you had your sword on ya. So someone would've definitely been wounded with that.

That's if I fought anyone at all. As far as I know, I was unconscious the whole time.

I looked at them earlier. They should be fine as long as I keep them clean.

Well, obviously you aren't the one who died unless you're some sorta ghost-! But really...waking up from something like that...I know I'd be shaken.
