There's a lot of people like that. Some people here died, or were dead for a while, before coming here. So if it took us from the moment before something bad happened...maybe we could return to that, or bypass it completely.

I don't know... if we could bypass it. We'd have to go back before it happened... If even a few minutes... Then maybe it'd be okay.

You could use your wish for that. Or just wish for him to be okay, I suppose.

That's a tough question. Heroic Spirits are summoned to fight in somethin' called a Grail War. A war for an artifact that can grant wishes. We all should have our own wishes. I have some. Like...being able to obtain my strength, and be summoned with the sword, Durandal. That's a legendary sword, and one that belonged to my father. But...I don't know of that's somethin' I would really wish for.

I think I'd just use it to help someone else.

I mean, I could. And maybe if I think about it, I'd find a better wish, but...

I don't know. Guess I just put others before myself. I'm just a Servant, after all.

That's too bad. Maybe you should think about yourself more sometimes.

I guess I should? It sort of doesn't come naturally, though.

Is that the kind of life you want? Never being able to do anything for yourself? I wouldn't expect you to change your mind suddenly... but the only way you're going to get what you want is to do it yourself. No one else is going to care for you.

But at the same time, I don't have much skills or really any abilities to get what I want. I thought I was on top of the world, when I was alive. And that was a mistake. I was killed because of that view. So now it's hard to think of that, without thinking of failure coming afterwards.

Maybe not permanently, but it's better than nothing.

I don't know. Maybe. But...I want to overcome things through my own hard work. I have to. I want to prove it to myself that I can.

And you wouldn't accept any help?

I would, I think. But the main part of it would have to be on my own merits. Like, training with someone is one thing. Making them fight my battles for me is another.

Still... seems like a wish would be a good way to improve yourself. How you go about it is your own business.
